I was in the mood to write, so here’s a consecutive release.

As you may have guessed from the chapter title, this is the episode where Millium is joining in.

Chapter 069 – Fufufu, Son. I’m Entrusting this Rabbit to You [A]

Sharon’s false accusation continued until she felt better and the misunderstanding was finally cleared when she confessed that she had been tailing Alisa.

When Alisa pressed at her about why she was there, she told her that Irina had requested that she work as the caretaker of the third student dormitory where Rean and the others live.

“Muu…… mother, if she had the time to be considerate about that, she should make time for me.”

“Oh my, my lady. It seems that I have made you feel very lonely. From now on, I will give you plenty of love.”

“That’s not what I mean!”

While the two intacted like sisters, Gaius smiled at them while Rean resolved to get payback on Sharon for what she had done to him.

“Then, once again, my name is Sharon Kreuger. I am a maid serving Irina Reinford-sama and currently my lady Alisa’s love slave.”

“Alisa…… to think you have such taste.”

“I don’t! It’s not true! Sharon, you should introduce yourself properly!”

“Ufufu, I can’t stop teasing my lady because you always react like that.”

“You should stop!”

“It’s good to know that you’re being loved. I am Gaius Worzel. Nice to meet you.”

“I’m Rean Schwarzer. By the way, why was Sharon-san stalking Alisa?”

“Rean-sama, that was all a misunderstanding. I was obligated to take a picture of my lady on her night date with this gentleman and report it to the chairman.”

“Ah~ I see. If that’s the case, I guess it can’t be helped.”

“Right?”

“I told you that it’s not true!!”

Alisa shouted angrily as her words hit with great force.

But Rean and Sharon just ignored it as if it were a cool breeze. Gaius himself seemed amused by the exchange and had no intention of stopping it, so Alisa’s hardships only increased.

“I was just shopping with a friend, okay! It’s a bad habit of taking things in that direction just because a man and woman walked together!”

“But since you enrolled at Thors, my lady who never had any rumors of a relationship with a man of that nature, has been spending time with people of the opposite sex during your stay at lodgings many times.”

“Wording!”

“Recently, it seems like her distance with Jusis…… the second son of Duke Albarea is somewhat close.”

“Well, well, can you tell me more about it?”

“The two of you were so hostile just a few seconds ago, why are you so close now?!”

Alisa was exhausted from screaming.

Rean was thinking about getting payback at Sharon just now, but this was a completely different issue.

Sharon seemed to feel the same way, as they both nodded instantaneously while their eyes met.

“It’s good that you get along so well. I can see the good wind is flowing.”

“I envy Gaius for being so unwavering……”

Realizing that she had no allies, Alisa was on the verge of tears.

Sharon didn’t want to make her actually cry, so she stopped teasing her and started talking seriously.

“I’m sorry for tailing you without permission and causing a misunderstanding, Rean-sama.”

“No, it makes sense considering how you also serve as her escort. You were just watching Alisa to make sure no bad insects latched on her, right?”

“Yes, she is one of the people to whom I offer my love and devotion to, after all…… that said, it was careless of me to get caught by Rean-sama.”

“But Alisa and I didn’t even notice it. I think it’s amazing of you.”

“Fufu, I’ll take your words of comfort.”

“Well, just consider that you met the wrong opponent, Sharon.”

“Stop making it sound like I’m the one at fault.”

Sharon’s lips loosened at the casual exchange.

Alisa must have felt embarrassed at being teased, so she started walking ahead first.

“C-Come on! We ended up taking an unexpected detour, so let’s go back already!”

“Yes, I need to greet the others as well, after all.”

Sharon said that as she followed Alisa, walking a step behind her as her attendant. While Gaius was impressed by her bold attitude, Rean was paying attention to her feet.

“What’s wrong, Rean? You seem to be looking at Sharon’s feet.”

“This person, her footsteps make absolutely no sound. Her center of gravity doesn’t even shift…… if she hadn’t had the preconceived notion that we were students, I probably wouldn’t have noticed her.”

“You can evaluate this much from that, Rean……”

Gaius, knowing Rean’s abilities, gazed at the back of the woman dressed as a maid despite knowing how rude it was.

“I guess it’s because she is the secretary to the chairman of the world-famous Reinford Group? That’s probably why she’s undergone special training.”

“It’s a big company that even an outsider like me has heard of, after all. I understand that the chairman is busy, but I hope she can somehow make time for Alisa, who has been wanting to talk to her mother for a long time. I wish there was something I could do.”

“Should we just go directly to Reinford?”

“I think Alisa will cry if you become a criminal for it, so you better not.”

“As long as I don’t get caught……”

“You might actually pull it off, Rean.”

Gaius gave a wry smile, but there was no hint of any dishonesty in his words.

Over the past few months, he had developed the belief that if Rean was serious in making Alisa meet Irina, Rean wouldn’t be here at this moment.

“What we can do is to be more considerate to Alisa when she asks for our help or advice.”

“You’re right, that’s the way to treat a friend.”

Agreeing with Gaius, who remained calm and composed, Rean and the others returned to the third student dormitory.

With Sharon taking over as dorm manager, life at the dorm has taken several steps in improvement during the morning homeroom.

At breakfast, after Sharon finished her self-introduction, Machias, who liked older women, was strangely excited. When Fie pointed this out to him, he angrily denied it, but everyone in Class VII thought that he should be more honest.

“Okay oka~y, I’ll introduce you to a new friend today.”

“Instructor Sara, that way of speaking sounds old-……”

“Did you say something?”

“No, I didn’t.”

Rean pointed out that it sounded similar to a phrase used by Osbon, but was pierced by Sara’s sharp gaze and fell silent.

Perhaps satisfied that she had silenced Rean, Sara turned her head toward the open door.

“Well then, come in.”

“Oka~y.”

It was a cheerful girl’s voice.

A turquoise-haired girl ran over to the desk as soon as she entered the classroom and looked around at the students of Class VII with a cheerful, likable smile.

“Hou……?”

“Eeh?!”

“What……?”

“You are……”

“We met you at the Nord Highland……”

Laura, Alisa, Jusis, Gaius, and Emma all spoke in surprise.

At the same time, Rean realized that the girl in the photograph Olivert had given him was the girl in front of him.

“Eheheh, it’s been a while. There are some of you who don’t know me, so I’ll introduce myself again. I’m Millium, Millium Orion.”

Without concluding her self-introduction, Millium closed her eyes and raised her hand.

As if in response to her action, a silver floating object appeared in the empty space behind Millium.

“This is Lammy…… its official name is ‘Airgetlam.’ Nice to meet you!” 1

“Whaaa?!”

“Eeeehhhh?!”

“It’s the thing we saw at the Aurochs Fort……”

While Machias and Elliot were the ones who were the most surprised, Fie calmly observed the flying object.

It appeared to be a silver rod with two blue eye-like pupils at the top, with a headless head and both arms attached to it.

The strangely designed floating object, Airgetlam, was leaning back with its chest puffed out and its arms resting on its hips(?).

Combined with Millium’s vibrant smile, it gave an impression that she had a mischievous personality.

“You’re not allowed to take that big thing out into the classroom, because I’ll get in trouble if it damages the wall.”

“Chee~, I guess it can’t be helped. Well then, I’m looking forward to working with you again!”

After Millium spun around and struck a pose, Rean greeted her without any hesitation.

“Nice to meet you, Millium and Airgetlam. I’m Rean Schwarzer.”

“Eheheh, I see. Nice to meet you too, Rean!”

Millium smiled at Rean, who was the first to greet her, and then approached him for a handshake, to which Rean responded.

Furthermore, she summoned Airgetlam, which she just told not to summon inside the classroom, and while everyone was shocked, Rean calmly grabbed Airgetlam’s thick arm with both of his hands and shook them.

The classmates of Class VII, especially Emma, couldn’t help but feel a chill at the sight that should have been heartwarming and shook their heads to get rid of the chill.
