Yep, disgusting development occurred right off the bat. I honestly felt nausea as I translated this since I forgot these things occurred. How Nighcisa slowly turns into a psychopath is just disgusting to me. This is why being a fanatic is just no good! If not for that, Nighcisa would stay as a good lord to his people and loving son/brother/husband/father to his family. It just sucks.
Well, leaving the twistedness of things aside (you’ll see this kind of sick development often), I actually prefer reading NC Era over SS Era. Well, it might be because I prefer reading heated development of war rather than romance drama. That said, most of them are just minor wars that concluded in a few chapters, with only few that lasted longer. Anyway, I hope you are not disgusted enough to drop the series.
