Palmer’s legal wife, Empress Burglinde, proceeded with some explanation. The hero of the Ray Kingdom killed Emperor Palmer, and Pierre killed the half-dead hero. The Ray Kingdom, which was at the end of the Deal Empire’s anger, was occupied by the Deal Empire’s army in just three days.

The southern continent, which was about twice as large as the northern continent unified by the Deal Empire, ended up unified by the Deal Empire in about a month. After the unification of the southern continent, many of the people living in the Northern Continent supported the next emperor, Pierre.

The major reason for the success of the succession of power was that all the dukes and counts who were formerly slaves were raised by Palmer and thus supported Pierre, too. Most of the former slaves were in their forties, and they also had young and talented children, so even if Palmer left center stage, the nation wouldn’t tilt.

On top of that, being Palmer’s child, who brought peace to the continent, Pierre also had a great influence. Palmer’s achievements brought together nations that alternated between peace and conflict in a short period of time, creating fifteen years of peace. It was greatly appreciated by older people, who had lived in the turmoils of war.

In addition, the children born within those fifteen years hadn’t directly felt Palmer’s vile conduct, so those people didn’t get to suffer, making the period of peace that shunned Palmer’s brutality forgotten even further.

As a result, only a few citizens who had relatives, parents, and children in the affected area continued with their grudges against Palmer, and since almost all of them were eliminated, Pierre, who had inherited a stable political base, led the empire to further prosperity.

With Palmer literally putting his life on the line, Emperor Pierre got to rule for a long time and passed on a more stable political base to his children. The Deal Empire prospered for a long time, ruling the northern continent for 350 years.

And it finally ends! Well, it took me a while to get here. Anyone who accompanied me until it reached this point, thank you very much!

Well now, to be honest, I only translate this for completion’s sake since honestly, I love YEET Lady’s Lydia’s character, so I wanted to translate the prequel to grasp the world view, only to meet Palmer, which to be blunt, a villain type I don’t like. The order of the author’s writing is split inheritance system -> girl who harbors demon lord -> YEET Lady, although chronologically, YEET Lady is between the two. Maybe that’s why the writing wasn’t as good. 

Honestly, I don’t enjoy this story that much. Palmer is too vile to my liking, unlike Lydia who could make me laugh due to how stupid it was. Most of the setting in this story did not get inherited in the later title, at most you could see the root reason why the goddess in Lydia’s timeline hated reincarnator so much, though we didn’t get to see her gone apeshit like in Lydia’s timeline. Well, considering there’s a gap of 300s years between Palmer to Lydia, it meant another story could be written between the timeline, something that the author has not yet written. Things unexplained, for example, why Deal Empire changed name into Klaus Kingdom? Why do humans there become demons? How does the goddess make a system for reincarnators to go there en masse and make them suffer as well?  How did she descend for the first time and be sealed in the end? Many things left unanswered between the timeline.

Well then, as for the sequel written above, I dunno if I should translate it since the author left it on hiatus and it’s untouched for years while they instead concentrated on another work they wrote. I didn’t read those since other than YEET Lady, it doesn’t seem to be to my liking.
